How it works

Understand the flow before you sign in.

DraftBuddy is built for post-event record keeping. Drafts get recorded after the event, groups scope who can see which results, and each role has a clear place in the workflow.

Typical flow

From invite to insights

Most people will touch only one part of the app, but the pieces fit together in a simple loop.

Viewer

Read-only exploration

Viewers use the dashboard side of the app. They can review Overview, Player Stats, Decks, Drafts, Cubes, and Groups that are visible through their memberships.

If they need access to another community, they can request to join a group.

Organizer

Operational work

Organizers work in Organizer Tools. They record drafts, maintain player records, manage cubes, create groups, and review join requests for the groups they own.

Their visibility stays scoped to the groups they are responsible for.

Admin

Access and oversight

Admins can see everything. They manage users, send invite links, create password reset links, merge duplicate player records, and step in when access or role decisions need central control.

Admins are the safety net, not the day-to-day operators for every group.
